CORE Health Centers utilizes the Pettibon Tendon Ligament Muscle Stimulator, or PTLMS, as part of our spinal rehabilitative therapy service. The Pettibon Tendon Ligament Muscle Stimulator has helped CORE Health Centers to improve the health in patients by emphasizing whole care that includes spine and posture correction, nutrition, and muscular development. With our use of the Pettibon System’s rehabilitation tools, CORE Health Centers’ patients actively participate in their care both at our clinic and their home. The Pettibon Tendon Ligament Muscle Stimulator removes muscle splinting, increases blood flow, and significantly decreases the possibility of the practitioner being hurt. Used during the acute phase of chiropractic care for pain control and enhanced metabolic function for regeneration of the injured para-vertebral soft tissue, the PTLMS works amazingly fast for significant results.
CORE Health Centers utilizes VibePlate Therapy, or vibration therapy, as part of our spinal rehabilitative therapy service. VibePlate therapy provides an important key step to quick and efficient rehabilitation management of a multitude of conditions. Although using VibePlate therapy to improve muscle, bone, and circulatory health isn’t new, chiropractic vibration therapy is a recent development rapidly rising in popularity among chiropractors nationwide and here at CORE Health Centers.
CORE Health Centers utilizes the Pettibon System’s Therapeutic Wobble Chair as part of our spinal rehabilitative therapy service. The Pettibon System’s Therapeutic Wobble Chair has helped CORE Health Centers to improve the health in patients by emphasizing whole care that includes spine correction, posture correction, and muscular development. The Therapeutic Wobble Chair is a patented, height adjustable (approx. 20-24" from floor) chair with a specially-designed seat. The seat provides 360° of rotation, 40° of side to side flexion, and 35° of front to back flexion on a universal type joint to facilitate all possible combinations of exercise motion needed for lumbar disc mobility, re-hydration, nutrition delivery, and waste elimination.
Stretching is a specific form of exercise that leads to increased muscle control, flexibility, range of motion, circulation, and overall fitness level. An active stretching regimen can strengthen muscles because stretching affects muscles in a way similar to strength training, just on a smaller scale. Research shows that Precor Stretcher Therapy users can significantly increase their flexibility (as judged by a basic sit and reach test) after 30 days of use, regardless of age.
CORE Health Centers utilizes the Pettibon System as part of our spinal rehabilitative therapy service. With our use of the Pettibon System’s rehabilitation tools, CORE Health Centers’ patients actively participate in their care both at our clinic and their home. When patients come to a CORE Health Centers clinic, they don’t sit passively waiting to see one of our chiropractors. They prepare for their examination by doing warm up exercises and stretching their muscles, ligaments, and discs using the Wobble Chair and the Repetitive Cervical Traction.
One of the primary spinal rehabilitative therapy techniques used by CORE Health Centers is spinal adjustment, also known as a chiropractic adjustment. After going over the results of your tests from the initial examination, CORE Health Centers will begin you chiropractic care, which includes chiropractic adjustments. A chiropractic adjustment, also known as chiropractic manipulation, manual manipulation, or spinal manipulation, is a common therapeutic treatment for back pain, lower back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, and hip pain. The goal of such chiropractic adjustment is to reduce vertebral subluxation and return the spine to a more natural state of health. CORE Health Centers use many chiropractic adjustment techniques in our office, which allows us to provide many options for our patients.
